• Lead the development team day to day. I prioritise work, assign tasks, coach developers, review code and run releases.
• Design and build integrations between ERP, accounting, e-commerce, payment and CRM systems, from customer workshops and technical design to deployment and support.
• Built integrations to almost every major Finnish accounting system, covering orders, invoices, payments, refunds, settlements, stock and payroll, including VAT rules and e-invoicing (Finvoice, UBL).
• Built Flashnode Connect from an idea to production. With it, customers ask Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini about their own business data, such as open invoices, sales or stock levels, and get answers straight from their ERP, accounting or e-commerce system. It connects 20+ Finnish systems and is used by production customers.
• Created the company's AI strategy and AI Playbook, and made AI part of everyone's daily work.
• Responsible for our AWS infrastructure and its costs, managed as code with SST, with releases automated through GitHub Actions.
• Automated repetitive work in reporting, support and releases, built an internal admin and monitoring tool, and wrote the runbooks we use to onboard new developers.

How integrating financial management systems affects the operations and management decision-making of SMEs ↗

A qualitative multiple-case study based on interviews with five Finnish SMEs that use financial system integrations. The integrations cut manual data handling, made accounting and reporting clearer and increased trust in the data moving between systems. The benefits grew the longer they had been in use. Written in Finnish.
